Mike Kinning, President
I started at Intek in 1991 as a Sales Engineer, and went on to serve the company as Business Manager, Manufacturing Manager, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In 2009, I was named Vice President and General Manager. Steve Glienke, Chief Operating Officer
I am a CPA and joined Intek in 2003 as a Controller. I became the company's Chief Financial Officer in September 2004. Prior to joining Intek, I was the Controller and Logistics manager for Satellite Industries, Inc., and the General Manager of a local construction supply company. My plastics background includes blown-sheet film, blow molding, thermo forming and roto molding. I have also led numerous Lean Accounting workshops in the Twin Cities area. I have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota.
Rich Theurer, General Manager, New Jersey
Prior to joining Intek in 2009, I worked for six years as Director of Sales and Engineering at Polycel Structural Foam. I have a BS in Industrial Engineering as well as a BA in Economics, both from Rutgers University. I'm a strong believer in the importance of placing our customers' needs above everything else—if we don't exceed their expectations, somebody else will.
Tracy Koch, Key Account Manager, Minnesota
I started at Intek in 1988 working as an inventory cycle counter, and worked my way up through the accounting, customer service, and sales departments to my present position. My goal is to build long-term partnerships with our customers and to provide total solutions for them. I have an AAS in Business Management from Inver Hills Community College and a BS in Business from Metropolitan State University.
Jeff Martin, Key Account Manager, Minnesota
I've been in the plastic extrusion industry for 30 years, the last five of them at Intek. I have a degree in Tooling Technologies from Dakota County Technical Institute and a degree in Computer-Aided Design from St. Paul Technical College. Before moving into sales, I worked in extrusion, tooling, new product design & development, and engineering. As a Key Account Manager, I'm always working to help our customers select the designs, materials, and processes that are the best fit for their needs.
Colleen Berg, Senior Sales Engineer, Minnesota
Before joining the Intek team in 2007, I worked for Saint-Gobain Bayform, Dealers Warehouse, and Pella Products. I have a BS in Business Administration from Minnesota State University. As a sales engineer, I believe the most valuable thing I can do is listen closely to my customers and make sure that I understand their needs completely.
Joe Ganguzza, Sales Manager, New Jersey
Although I've only been with Intek since 2009, I've been in the POP sales and manufacturing industry for over thirty years. Before entering the industry, I attended Bryant College in Smithfield, Rhode Island, and I also served in the field artillery branch of the U.S. Army. Taking the time to fully understand my customers' needs is extremely important to me, as is establishing a schedule and sticking to it. My motto is “quote on time, manufacture on time, and deliver on time.”
