Extrusion Capabilities

Intek Plastics has the knowledge and experience needed to create superior plastic extrusions. We have manufacturing processes capable of co-extruding up to four dissimilar materials into one multi-durometer profile. In fact, we hold several patents for our co-extrusion profiles. This allows you nearly limitless design flexibility with almost any combination of requirements in one profile, including heat deflection, impact resistance, color retention, stiffness and weatherability.

Intek has over 70 extruders producing parts smaller than ¼ inch up to 10 inches wide in multiple durometers. Our extensive plastic extrusion experience in pellet and powder compounds, as well as our advanced cooling technology in air, water and vacuum sizing, allows us to succeed in jobs of any shape or size. We serve OEMs with orders from 5,000 to 15,000,000 feet.
